- Confirm the app is named Lemuroid, then follow Android's installation prompts.
- Open Lemuroid and grant access only to the game folder you want it to scan.
- Select a folder containing backups from games you legally own.
- Let Lemuroid index supported files, then choose a game from your library.
Before adding games
Lemuroid is an emulator and does not ship with games, firmware, or copyrighted system files. Some systems may need additional firmware obtained from hardware you own. Keep your original files and save backups in a safe location.
Device and performance notes
The app is designed for Android phones, tablets, and TVs. Performance varies by device, system, game, and settings; newer platforms generally require faster hardware. If a game is slow, close background apps and begin with default settings before enabling HD options.
