About Lemuroid Emulator
Lemuroid is an open-source emulation project focused on ease of use, strong Android integration, and a clean experience across phones and TVs.
A library-first Android emulator
Lemuroid scans supported game files and presents them as a simple visual library. The project brings multiple Libretro cores together behind one consistent Android interface, so most everyday controls, saves, display options, and gamepad features feel familiar across systems.
Designed around ease of use
The goal is not to expose every possible emulator setting. Lemuroid concentrates on a strong default experience: automatic scanning, optimized touch controls, quick save and load, controller support, display simulation, Android TV support, and practical performance options.
Why this website exists
This maintained site gives people a clear route to the genuine Google Play listing, accurate supported-system information, and straightforward setup guidance. That matters when copycat pages, misleading advertisements, and modified installers can make a simple download confusing or unsafe.
Open-source foundations
The source code and release history are available on GitHub under the project's open-source license. Lemuroid is based on Libretro and uses system-specific cores maintained by their respective projects.
Games and trademarks
Lemuroid does not include game files. Users are responsible for providing legally obtained backups and any required firmware. Platform, game, and company names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility.
